HFB was created in 2012 to serve the local community. We strive to serve the best food possible at a fair price, using the best ingredients from the best purveyors in NYC. We pride ourselves in making food the old fashion way, adding love along the way. Our casual atmosphere is designed to get to know your neighbor, share a drink and make new friends. Stop by and check us out, we would love to be of service. 

Our food is prepared every day in-house. Produce, meats and fish are delivered daily and never frozen.  All sauces and dressings are homemade.  Where possible we offer organic and free range poultry, beef and pork.  Our homemade food is one of the reasons we see most of our customers several times a week, sometimes even several times a day.


We begin with the best product, make everything with love and take pride in our homemade food supplied  by the best purveyors in New York City.

I am serious about food. After graduating from The French Culinary Institute. I worked my way through many of New York’s best restaurants under the masterful direction of NY’s best chefs. I wanted to bring this idea to Harlem. My philosophy is simple, don’t serve  anything I would not eat myself. Nothing here comes out of a package, we pride ourselves in making our own food. From our homemade dressings, to our mouthwatering Mac & Cheese Sticks, we want you to share the love.   I wanted to create a space for locals by locals.  No need to go crazy with advertising, word of mouth is my voice. Simply, provide great food at a great price. Our staff is the best in Harlem.  We want to supply you with the best service and friendly atmosphere that we can provide. Customer service is a priority, no attitude, just lots of cuddling our customers and providing the best experience possible. I want my clients to have fun and come back. My restaurant is more than food, it’s laughter, memories, music, and just good ol’ fun.
